Kelli White was a child of auspicious beginnings, born in the less than auspicious city of Worcester, Massachusetts. Learning to read at the age of 2, she was taken at an early age by the writings of the Dalai Lama. Wishing to pursue a spiritual path, she left home at the age of 8, not knowing the adventures that awaited her. While stowing herself away on a steam ship, whose course was set for Rome, she found a guitar –which became her only amusement for the three week journey. So spellbound was she by the wonders of this instrument, that she never left the hull of the ship, taking the course from New York to Rome 5 times before being discovered by a ship attendant who felt compassion for her. He gave her no fines, only asking that one day, when she was in a rock band she would invite him to a show. Luckily, Kelli was able to repay he debt last year. Kelli lives in Cambridge, MA, where she shares with others stories of her life and her endless knowledge of Wines.
