Well, we are still working on the album and it's coming along quite well. Nothing like having lots of time for this sort of thing. But, we still want to get it out to the kids. So you will see it soon.
In order to soothe your yearning heart we have something you might like. Watch this site for "Saturday Saints: Live at The Middle East!"

Thanks for coming to our show!

Hey kids,

Thanks to all our fans for coming to our first-ever Middle East show. We all had super fun, and the soud was great. At least from up there.

(bee)Keep your peepers peeled! There is rumour that some live tracks from the show may be released by the band.

Which do you want first?

The good news? or the bad news?

You: Let's have the bad news first, then by the time the good news comes, I'll have already forgotten about the bad.

Ok.

Bad News - Contrary to ealier beliefs/hopes/truths the Saturday Saints will not be playing in New York city on September, 10th. Unfortunately - we got bumped. Bummer, I know. We promise, that were coming to NYC again soon though. Afterall - it is my hometown.

BUT
Good News - We ARE playing at the Middle East Upstairs on Thursday, September 8th. Thanks to Brian, of SUPERAWESOME fame for hooking it up, and Shred for finally getting us in the door. It is our first show at the famed Middle East. So all better come out. More details soon.

Got some vocals down

Hello again,

We started tracking vocals and they sound oh so sweet! I am constantly impressed by these ladies. What does a bass player know about singing anyway. You may have heard me at a show, I'm sorry. Anyway, you are going to hear nothing but these three sweet ladies singin' their hearts out on the new album. Beautiful.

We look fabolos

Thanks to all the brave folks who came out to The Abbey Lounge on a thursday night to cheer our sweaty asses on. Thanks also to Joe Lies, Anushka Pop, and the Oggs, who were all awesome - making it a night we will hold dearly in our hearts for some time.

Thanks to Johnny Arguedas (http://www.motion-blur.net) from Anushka Pop, we have returned from the front-line with an excellent photographic record of the trials and triumphs of last night's events.

Yipple-Zipple!!

I like to use exclamation points. !

Come see that rascally band, The Saturday Saints, tonight at the Abbey Lounge in Cambridge/Somerville. We go on at 9 p.m. Don't be late or you'll miss us. And I'll cry one tear.

Check the shows listing for more deets. (thats slang for: details).

I'm not really a punctuation expert. I just like to throw those characters around like a rooster wearin' socks.

More Recording fun...Carrots included

Hey kids,

We did some more tracks this weekend. All the bass is done, and we got a number of fabulous keyboard trax done. It's sounding awesome. So, if you are reading this it means you can't wait either. Look for pics soon!

I hope listening to Iron Maiden doesn't get me fired from the band.

Saturday Saints NOT at PA's Tonight

It was brought to my attention by a nice lady named Erica that the Pheonix and sig39.com claim that we are playing a show at PA's Lounge tonight. Well, we aren't. But we once planned to, so you can see where the confusion comes from. Do check out paslounge.com though--this venue has some great events coming up. And I'm sure the Saturday Saints will make an appearance there again one of these days.

In other news, we will be live and in effect at the Abbey Loung this Thursday night (the 28th) with Anushka Pop and Joe Lies. We go on at the fantastically reasonable hour of 9pm. ~Bevin

Internet Airplay

Thanks to Dan Herman of Radio Crystal Blue your lucky Saints will be featured on live internet radio. The live show will air Sunday July 24th at 7 PM through Live365 . However, if your like me and can't miss a second of The Simpsons/Entourage/Family Guy, you can hear the entire thing in its archived or podcast format. Listen for the Saints and maybe discover some other great indie bands that you can claim you knew before anyone else before they get big and arent as cool anymore.

It's Cookout Season!

Cookouts are great. We're going to be playing at our friend Heather's cookout on Saturday. It is worth noting that Heather is quite possibly the biggest fan of the Saturday Saints. Definitely the biggest fan. I think I'm going to wear my big sunglasses. If you know someone in the band or know Heather, maybe you should think about coming to this cookout. If not, fire up your own grill, and don't forget to have a good time. Because you know what I always say: "I've got a fire going on my barbecue every summer night." Try to stay cool, okay? And drink lots of fluids.
