We look fabolos
Thanks to all the brave folks who came out to The Abbey Lounge on a thursday night to cheer our sweaty asses on. Thanks also to Joe Lies, Anushka Pop, and the Oggs, who were all awesome - making it a night we will hold dearly in our hearts for some time.
Thanks to Johnny Arguedas (http://www.motion-blur.net) from Anushka Pop, we have returned from the front-line with an excellent photographic record of the trials and triumphs of last night's events.

Yipple-Zipple!!
I like to use exclamation points. !
Come see that rascally band, The Saturday Saints, tonight at the Abbey Lounge in Cambridge/Somerville. We go on at 9 p.m. Don't be late or you'll miss us. And I'll cry one tear.
Check the shows listing for more deets. (thats slang for: details).
I'm not really a punctuation expert. I just like to throw those characters around like a rooster wearin' socks.

More Recording fun...Carrots included
Hey kids,
We did some more tracks this weekend. All the bass is done, and we got a number of fabulous keyboard trax done. It's sounding awesome. So, if you are reading this it means you can't wait either. Look for pics soon!
I hope listening to Iron Maiden doesn't get me fired from the band.

Saturday Saints NOT at PA's Tonight
It was brought to my attention by a nice lady named Erica that the Pheonix and sig39.com claim that we are playing a show at PA's Lounge tonight. Well, we aren't. But we once planned to, so you can see where the confusion comes from. Do check out paslounge.com though--this venue has some great events coming up. And I'm sure the Saturday Saints will make an appearance there again one of these days.
In other news, we will be live and in effect at the Abbey Loung this Thursday night (the 28th) with Anushka Pop and Joe Lies. We go on at the fantastically reasonable hour of 9pm. ~Bevin

Recording Update
Los Santos Sabados have been cobbling together thier free time and are slowly getting the tracks down for the new full length. Drums and most of the bass are "in the bag", as they say. With more recording going on this weekend, we may get out of this summer with a whole album. Have you been waiting for it? I have. Be kind to other humans.

Internet Airplay
Thanks to Dan Herman of Radio Crystal Blue your lucky Saints will be featured on live internet radio. The live show will air Sunday July 24th at 7 PM through Live365 . However, if your like me and can't miss a second of The Simpsons/Entourage/Family Guy, you can hear the entire thing in its archived or podcast format. Listen for the Saints and maybe discover some other great indie bands that you can claim you knew before anyone else before they get big and arent as cool anymore.

The Saints are recording! The Saints are recording!
Hello loyal fans of the Saturday Saints,
Jeff here, just wanted to let you know that we are finally recording a full length. We decided to do it DIY style at my studio. With all of our brains and gear together, we're going to bust out a new album. You can look forward to hearing all your favorites in clear CD audio. We have hired the string section for ALL the songs and lined up the hottest session musicians to do our parts. NO! Now why would we do that? Look forward to hearing these songs with the little extra touches that only unlimited studio time can accomodate.
Watch here for more updates!
Lovey,
Jeff

Barbacue Fun
On behalf of the Saturday Saints, I want to thank Heather, all of her friends and the entire neighborhood surrounding her house, for hosting a delicious and super-fun barbacue on Saturday. Not only did we have a great time rocking out and getting semi belligerent (and covered in dirt), but we made a bunch of new friends. I ate one too many hot-dogs, but so did Rocco, the Puerto-Rican Street Dog. In the end, I fell asleep to "Monster Squad" on Jon's floor.
A good night all around.
